Viray Patel, DDS

Viray Patel, DDS brings more than a decade of experience in family practice dentistry to the Arcadia Dental Group in Arcadia, Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Patel works with patients of all ages and speaks both English and Spanish. He focuses on providing specialized care in general and cosmetic dentistry services from basic checkups to high-quality veneers. Raised in Mesa, Arizona, Dr. Patel graduated from Dobson High School. He went on to attend Creighton University in Nebraska, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in both biology and psychology. Dr. Patel continued his education at Creighton University School of Dentistry and received his dental degree in 2005. Dr. Patel prides himself in providing the highest quality dentistry in a gentle and approachable manner to ensure that each patient’s dental experience is as comfortable as possible. Trent Cox, DMD, DHSc

Dr. Trent Cox is an Arizona native. He attended highschool in Tempe then moved on to Arizona State University. He took a two year break from his education to go to the Domican Republic on a church mission where he enjoyed learning and becoming fluent in Spanish. After returning to Arizona he completed dental school and earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree (DMD) at A.T. Still University Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. It was there that he also received his certificate in Public Health, Certificate in Orthodontics and his Doctor of Health Science degree (DHSc). He also completed the process to become board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Cox is active in his church and enjoys all outdoor activities. He is an accomplished long distance runner having competed in running races ranging from 1 mile to 100 mile ultramarathons. He also loves competing in mountain biking and road cycling races. He enjoys hiking with his last hike being Mt. Whitney and his favorite being the Grand Canyon. Dr. Cox loves the process of setting goals and working hard to accomplish his goals. Most importantly, Dr. Cox is a family man. He and his wife Carrie are the parents of four children, 3 girls and a boy. Dr. Cox loves being an orthodontist and considers it his dream job. Dr. Cox considers creating beautiful smiles one of the most fulfilling pursuits in his life.

Dr. Travis Hogan

Dr. Travis Hogan, a native of Omaha, Nebraska, graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2019 after completing his undergraduate studies at Creighton as well. It was at Creighton that Dr. Hogan met his wife, Madeline, a Phoenix native. Madeline's residency and fellowship in Ophthalmology brought the couple to Dallas, Texas, where Dr. Hogan had the privilege to provide quality dentistry to a largely underserved population at Parkland County Hospital, one of the largest and busiest county hospitals in the United States. Dr. Hogan and his family recently moved back to the Valley, where he is excited to join Arcadia Dental Group and Dr. Patel. Dr. Hogan is known for his gentle, empathetic, and professional bedside approach to patient care. In his spare time, he can be found spending time with Madeline, their two young daughters, and their goldendoodle Blue (Go Bluejays!). Dr. Hogan is the ultimate girl Dad.
